Nursery Bonus 2024: Everything you need to know

TheBonus Asilo Nido 2024 is an important financial support provided by INPS to help Italian families with children under the age of 3 to cover the costs of nursery school fees, both public and private authorized. This contribution is also designed to provide home care to children suffering from serious chronic pathologies, who need care at their own home.


Who can request the Bonus?


They can request the Bonus Nursery 2024 families with children under the age of 3, regardless of whether they have already applied for the Single Allowance, since the two incentives arecompatible and cumulative. However, the bonus cannot be combined with tax deductions for attending nursery schools.


Requirements to access the Bonus:


  • Child under 3 years old .

  • Italian citizenship or EU citizenship, or valid residence permits (for non-EU parents).

  • Residence in Italy.

  • For home care, the parent must live with the child and reside in the same municipality.


How does the 2024 nursery school bonus work?


Il rimborso è calcolato in base alle ricevute delle rette pagate, con importi che variano in base al reddito ISEE:


  • ISEE up to €25,000: €3,000 per year ( ten installments of €272.73).

  • ISEE between €25,001 and €40,000: €2,500 per year (ten installments of €227.27).

  • ISEE above €40,000: €1,500 per year (ten installments of €136.37).


Without presenting the ISEE, the minimum amount will be recognized of €1,500.


New for 2024: Increased amounts for large families


From 2024, for families with:


  • Children born on or after 1 January 2024 .

  • ISEE up to €40,000.

  • At least one other child under 10 years old.


The bonus amounts increase up to3.600 € all’anno.


When to apply?


The application for the 2024 nursery school bonus can be submitted by31 dicembre 2024 for fees paid during the year. Every year, the request must be renewed.
