Textbook Contribution for the 2024/2025 School Year


If you are a student or a parent of a child attending lower or upper secondary school, there is an important opportunity that may interest you.

Thanks to DGR n.807/2024 and Law n.448/1998, it is possible to request a contribution for the purchase of textbooks for the 2024/2025 school year.


Who Can Benefit from the Contribution?


The contribution is intended for students of lower and higher secondary schools, coming from families with an Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator (I.S.E.E.) not exceeding €15,493, 71. It is important that the I.S.E.E. certification is valid at the time of submitting the application, otherwise the request will be considered inadmissible.


How to Submit the Application?




The grant application must be submitted online by Thursday 3 October 2024. The parent, the representative of the minor or the student if an adult, can complete the application using the SPID credentials. The municipality of residence of the student is the body responsible for providing the benefit, in accordance with the Regional Law. 28/2002.


Contribution Assignment Criteria:


Once all the applications have been collected, the student's municipality of residence will verify the admissibility of the requests. Subsequently, the Region will approve the plan for allocating resources between the Municipalities, which will determine the amount of the contribution for each student.


Controls and Verifications!


To guarantee the correctness of the information provided, the granting bodies will conduct checks on at least 8% of the admitted applications. In case of untruthful declarations, the applicant will lose the right to the contribution and will have to return any sums already received. Furthermore, criminal sanctions established by law may be applied.
