The ISEEU, or University Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator, is an essential tool for university students who wish to access various financial benefits. This is an assessment that considers three main factors:

The lower the value of the ISEEU, the greater the possibility of obtaining benefits such as scholarships, discounts on university fees or access to university services such as accommodation. This indicator is accessible to all students resident in Italy, both Italian and foreign.

What documents are needed to request the ISEEU?

To obtain the University ISEE, it is necessary to collect some documents relating to the economic and financial situation of your family unit. Here's what you'll need:

An identification document.
If you own properties, the cadastral survey with the owners updated to 31 December 2022.
If you have a mortgage, the document that certifies the portion of the mortgage remaining as of December 31, 2022 and the installments already paid.
If you live in rent, the registration receipt of the rental contract with the Revenue Agency is required.
Confirmation of submission of the 2023 tax return, or alternatively the Single Certifications for those who have not submitted it.

When do the parents' incomes not count?

The student can avoid including the parents' incomes in the ISEEU request if :

Has lived in a house other than that of the family for at least two years.
Lives in a house that is not owned by the family.
In in the last two years he has received an income from work exceeding €9,000 per year.
